PROFESSOR KAREN LANDMAN

Goal: to create an experiential learning opportunity for individuals of all ages, abilities, and demographics.

Objectives: [1] To create a fun and engaging experience for children as they learn about the rich agricultural history of Blythe, [2] To create an experiential opportunity for adults to enjoy nature and its rich edible + drinkable bounty, [3] To create opportunities for local businesses and artisans to showcase their products, [4] To create a diverse and aesthetically pleasing display of native plants to attract local pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, moths, and birds.

Land | Terre Design Research Network is a collective aimed at increasing awareness and research in landscape architecture across Canada. Academic researchers from seven institutions are joining forces to reduce the country’s geographic span by tackling research questions that impact us regionally, and nationally.
